白色正交雙錐體結(jié)晶或結(jié)晶性粉末。有苦咸味,無(wú)臭。熔點(diǎn)約800℃;d2.7。有吸潮性,易在潮濕空氣中吸收三分子水。能溶于水和甘油,不溶于乙醇。水溶液呈中性。33℃時(shí)溶解度最大(1:2),溫度再高溶解度降低,100℃時(shí)溶于2.4份水。當(dāng)水溶液低于32. 38℃時(shí),則以十水物結(jié)晶析出,高于32. 38℃時(shí)開(kāi)始以無(wú)水硫酸鈉結(jié)晶析出。

Soluble in water and glycerin, insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is neutral. The solubility is maximum at 33℃ (1:2), the solubility decreases at higher temperature, and the solubility is dissolved in 2.4 parts of water at 100℃. When the aqueous solution is lower than 32.38 ℃, it crystallizes out as decahydrate, and when it is higher than 32.38 ℃, it begins to crystallize out as anhydrous sodium sulfate.
